CNHC GPs and Nurses to Refer

All GPs and Chief Nursing Officers were asked this week to recommend patients who are seeking complementary therapies to consult with practitioners who are registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), where it registers the professional discipline concerned.

 

The request was issued by the Department of Health in the October GP and Chief Nursing Officer Bulletins .

As a registered practitioner of the CNHC I welcome the opportunity to improve patients' health and wellbeing.

Foot Pain

Pain in the feet, following a heavy landing from a fall for instance, can be rectified by mobilisation and manipulation of the tarsal bones of the foot.  Landing heavily on the feet after a fall  can compress the spaces between the small bones of the feet and this can then inhibit normal biomechanical functioning of the foot and ankle. 

 If you know there are no broken bones (perhaps you have had an x-ray and nothing has shown up untoward) and you still have pain and stiffness and find that you are having difficulty walking after resting, then you may have compression of one or more bones of the foot and ankle.  Impact transmission can go up the "kinetic chain" (from the ground up through the foot and ankle and on through the knee and hip) blocking normal movement.  Hard falls onto the feet many months ago can still cause dysfunction and pain, so if you are having difficulty walking after resting then give me a call and you may find ... EXPERIENCE: I started my own business in 2000.  Since then, I have treated all aspects of musulo-skeletal disorders such as the failed back syndrome;  rib restriction and associated breathing problems;  hip and knee injuries sustained during marathons or work-outs in the gym;  achilles tendonitis;  "frozen" shoulder/adhesive capsulitis;  temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction (difficulty opening the mouth/clicking jaw);  spinal facet joint dysfunction and sacro-iliac dysfunctio;  whiplash and other neck strains;  sprained ankle;  dysfunction of the bones of the feet or hands and wrists.  These are just a few of the problems people suffer from which can be safely and effectively treated.
