  this is an excellent local theatre. I have seen several productions here and all have been to a very high standard they regularly have murder mystery plays which are very good. I enjoy attending this theatre so much i had part of my Hen do there when we went to a musical complete with sign along to Alvin stardust! They regularly offer discount if booking several productions at once. The box office staff are always helpful and if you haven't got the seating plan in front of you do their best to describe where the seats are. The disabled facilities are also to a high standard

• Darlington Civic theatre

  This is a brilliant theatre to have in our region - it has very luxurious decor, and they put on some fantastic shows. Going to see a show at Darlington Civic is a real event, and something we love to do as a family treat - especially the Christmas panto! In my opinion this is the most luxurious theatre in our region, and they do put on a good range of shows and attract some big names. There are a couple of really nice bar areas for the interval, including one where you can get tea and coffee. It tends to be very expensive for tickets and also for sweets in the interval. There is no dedicated parking, although there are pay and display car parks very close by.
