About Us

Classes in Karate for 5 yrs and over, incorporating Little Dragons for 5 to 7 yr. For juniors and seniors we have Anshin and Kamishin karate. In addition we teach traditional Okinawan Kobudo, Matayoshi Ryu, and are associated to the Kodokan in Japan.

What makes this business unique:

We have three styles of Martial Arts, and can offer traditional training in Karate and Kobudo as well as the sporting side for students that want to compete in competitions.

Karate classes for all ages. Kobudo classes for 14 yrs and above. Self-defence and fitness instruction. We teach the practical side of martial arts and well as the theory. Fun and friendly classes taught by qualified instructors with over 23 years experience.

I originally signed up my sons as it was local to me, but later joined myself as I have always had an interest. I have found the instructors knowledgeable, personable, and patient. Consequently my family have been training with Kodokan for the last six years. I would recommend this family run club to anyone.
