ordered three light fittings in sept 09 and paid for them, they just fob you off for a good few weeks with endless excuses then having canceled my order in nov they fob you off a bit longer and then dont answer you r emails they owe me £99 83p do no deal with new furniture direct ltd they are con men
They only thing this company does well is take money off you. Just don't expect anything back in return like the goods you ordered and then don't expect to get your money back anytime soon. I've been waiting over 5 weeks for my money back.
I ordered several light fixtures in September. Payment was made immediately, and they said 2-3 weeks for delivery. I emailed after 3 weeks, and was told the supplier was backlogged due to new EU lighting regulations and that I would have the order in another 2 weeks. Called after 3 weeks and asked to cancel the order. Order was cancelled but no refund appeared. I chased them, only to be told that refunds can take up to four weeks. Now in January, still no refund, no response and I initiating procedures to have my bank claw back the funds based on non-delivery of goods. Rubbish vendor, do not use.
We ordered a light fitting via the website which stated 4/5 days delivery. It never arrived. Chased the order. Told it would be 3-4 weeks. Cancelled the order. Had we know it was not in stock we would have ordered it elsewhere. Very difficult to get our money back and we are still persuing this 5 weeks later. Now considering legal action inorder to recover our money. Order from this company at your peril! Did not rate this 3 star, but was unable to change it to 1 - !!
