About Us...

I am Eugene Grandi and I was born in Italy, but have lived in the UK for many years. For over 23 years I've worked in the travel and tourism industry in both the UK and Italy, running a successful business as a tour operator offering holidays to some selected Italian destinations.

Now, I've started a brand-new venture offering a small number of holidays in 2018. These new holidays are to lesser known destinations including the beautiful mountainous region in the Trentino "Lake Ledro" and to the Adriatic Riveria "Cattolica". Whilst they may not be on the well-worn tourist trail, they're just as interesting and enchanting as Italy's popular destinations (and can be enjoyed without the crowds).

Each holiday includes day excursions to explore the surrounding areas, as well as plenty of relaxation time.

I take great pride in providing excellent customer service and I will accompany these holidays, staying with you throughout.
This means that I will be on-hand to answer any of your questions and provide any information you need from the minute you arrive at the airport to depart, until you step off the plane on your return flight home. My aim is to ensure you have a memorable and enjoyable holiday.

ingle Rooms - not always of the same quality and standard as other rooms - they may be smaller or occupy an inferior location in the hotel, despite this, the hotel demand a supplement which is beyond our control.

More Information...

This picturesque resort is nestled high in the mountains above Lake Garda.
The Alpine landscape is ideal for walkers and nature lovers, with a wide choice of excellent walking paths around the lake. There are also cycle tracks suitable for both beginner and more experienced cyclists to explore this enchanting valley.

This area is perfect for a break from the stresses of everyday life. Relax on the shore of the lake with a good book, or walk along the well-marked paths leading to spectacular views and picturesque scenery. Alternatively, you can take a local bus to visit Riva del Garda and other well-known resorts around Lake Garda.

Lake Ledro is 650 meters above sea level, making an ideal summer location as the climate is cooler compared to the uncomfortable summer heat on lake Garda.

Lake Ledro is 770 meters wide and 48 meters deep. When the waters of the lake were dredged in 1929 during the construction of the hydroelectric power station in Riva del Garda, a lake dweller's settlement was exposed with many artefacts, including pots, tools and jewellery dating back to the Bronze Age; the restored bronze age houses on stilts
(Palafitte Huts) at the southernmost edge of the lake (in Molina) are now a small museum exhibiting and preserving many of these artefacts.

Lake Ledro is significant in Italian history, because the famous General Giuseppe Garibaldi.
In 1886, on orders from the King of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II, he stopped his assault on the invading Austrian troops in Bezzecca and handed over the territory he had just conquered to the Austrians. The Region remained under Austrian occupation until November 1918.

he Republic of San Marino - A country within a country; San Marino is thought to be the world's oldest surviving republic. This UNESCO World Heritage site provides interesting history, stunning architecture and views of the Adriatic from atop Mount Titano, part of the Apennine range.

Urbino - This hilltop, medieval town that was once at the centre of the renaissance, is surprisingly overlooked by many visitors to Italy, yet it was the birthplace of Raphael.
Enjoy the narrow, cobbled streets and mountainous views of this little gem, without the crowds.
